When a subject merits it, a painter usually makes more than one art work from it. As in this case, I believe I have made about 10 works from this scene up till now. Mostly sketches on paper, however I once made a 40 x 50 oil painting which is now in a private collection somewhere in West Virginia, USA. Today I hung 12 art works in the PC Internet Cafe (Koningsplein), which is just across the street from this scene, 5 works are dedicated to the St. Joris.
